Areas for consideration
- Update Frequency: We recommend updating tracking hourly at most, but not less than daily.
- File Name: should be something unique like shipments_mmddyy.csv. You can use other variables like shipments_POnumber.csv if you’re posting a unique file for each shipment.
- File Format: File data should include the following data points. ** indicates a required field.
- order_id**
- shipping sku : used to identify if the order is shipped in full
- shipping date
- shipping quantity : used to identify if the order is shipped in full
- tracking number **
- Shipping carrier : used to update the retailer for order confirmations to the customer
- Shipping method
